Skills for Progress hosted the National Seminar on Skills on 3rd Dec 2021 at Pilar Animation Centre, Goa. The theme of the seminar was “Samarthan”, means 'Support'. The National Seminar was inaugurated by His Excellency Shri.P. S Sreedharan Pillai the Governor of Goa in the presence of the dignitaries of SKIP Dr. J. Alexander, IAS (Retd) Chief Secretary (Retired), Former MLA, Bro. Thomas C. A. – Chairman, SKIP Director & Principal of Boys town Group of Institutions, Hyderabad, Telangana, Dr. F. Joseph Stanley the General Secretary and Executive Director for Skills for Progress (SKIP), Bangalore, Bro.Prem sg, SKIP Western Region Secretary and the Director & Principal of Montfort Academy, Goa.
His Excellency addressed the delegates and encouraged & inspired them to strengthen the skill sector in all spheres and make the youth of the nation employable. His Excellency also unveiled the Golden Jubilee Magazine of SKIP in the presence of all the dignitaries. Montfort Academy Goa was the local organizer for this national event. The seminar witnessed the participation of SKIP representatives from 18 states of India and the eminent personalities from various corporate sectors. The seminar included various business panel sessions moderated by the SKIP officials and addressed by the corporate people. The panel discussion comprised of the top industries (Tata Motors, TCS , L & T , Godrej, NIOS, DMG Mori, Quest Alliance, ICAR, GCCI, Youth4jobs).
