On 3rd January 2023, the team from Old Goa police station headed by PI Mr.Satish Padwalkar visited the Academy to conduct an orientation programme on drug abuse and traffic rules . Bro.Prem , the Director of Montfort Academy addressed the session. The Police inspector explained about the drug abuse with the help of videos and presentations. He also explained to the students the harmful effects of taking drugs and other narcotics. The team also created awareness about the traffic rules to be followed by the people especially the youngsters such as wearing helmets and seat belts, not to drive the vehicles without valid driving licenses etc.
The students and staff interacted with the team and clarified their queries. The session was well received by the students and staff of the Academy. On behalf of the staff , Mrs. Raichel Sebastian delivered the vote of thanks to the Old Goa police team for the interesting and valuable session
